Ancient Murrelet or Genus Synthliboramphus. Actually a small bird, somewhat in between a robin and a crow. It says Ancient due to its grey back plumage which makes them look like a senior 🤭
The painting was created only with a black drawing pen. After months of using vivid watercolour, I decided to switch to black and white illustrations and more refinement. As a reminder of the overwhelming reality that often conceals the essence under the bright plumage.
