Brown Pelican – a bird with a comical look but a successful survivor indeed.
Its black body is drawn with multiple thin brush strokes that create a linocut effect. Background colours remind me of the picturesque coastal areas of Central America, where I lived for several years.
The painting was created for the ‘Birdtober 2024’ art challenge.
