Lupins
Varied edition #3 is available now. For this edition, I cut the block in two parts, so greens and pinks are separated; although the flowers are still slightly gradient. You may choose from several numbered prints; one print from first editioon is still available, too.
Lupins are ubiquitous in Newfoundland, and their colours vary from soft pink to solid purple. While considered highly invasive species, they still bloom only for a short time, and stay unseen for the rest of the calendar year. Working on this print, I wanted to welcome them to find a place in our homes for a full year-round, because they are so lovely and vibrant! I tried many hues and their combination (some are still drying out), and even if there is some consistency, each print will be slightly different (within one colour).
