I called this series ‘Whispered Woods’, where I explore the quiet presence of life within the forest — moments that often go unseen but are deeply felt. Each piece captures an animal at rest within its own world of shelter and stillness: the fox beneath ash leaves, the badger in pine needles, the hare among maple, the squirrel in oak.

In a first print, “Silent Den”, I wanted to capture a moment of pure stillness — a fox curled within mountain ash leaves, where warmth and quiet become one. The piece reflects the peace found in hidden places.

Characteristics:

– Hand-carved and hand-printed on archival cotton paper, using oil-based Caligo Safewash/ water-basedSpeedball inks, a glass baren, and a wooden spoon.
– Every print comes in several colours. Golden colour print is made with water-based Speedball ink.
– Entirely handmade in Canada, NL
– Prints come signed and include the certificate of authenticity

– Due to the handmade nature, the prints are subject to slight variations in ink coverage.
– Every print will be packed in a transparent plastic sleeve with a sturdy backboard for safe shipping
